The #1 deck builder in Orange County and Spotsylvania County and surrounding areas

Before you hire:

Is your contractor properly licensed for your project

The major purpose of licensing is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the homeowner. Plus, the Law requires you to have a VA Contractor License if you bid or perform a job in excess of $1,000 in any county, city or town in the State of Virginia.

Licensing protects the homeowner by helping ensure that contractors meet the minimum insurance requirements. Homeowners who use unlicensed or improperly licensed contractors may find little recourse if a problem develops after the work is completed.

There are three license classes: Class A, Class B, and Class C - In order to perform or manage construction, removal, repair, or improvements over $10K, your contractor must have at least a Class A or B contractors license.

To verify your contractor is properly licensed, go to DPOR License Lookup
